Xavi Torres Trio
The Xavi Torres Trio combines exciting trio playing with adventure, where joy and dedication resonate at a high level. As both pianist and composer, the Spanish Xavi Torres (1991) tells a personal story with a great eye for detail.
After studying in Barcelona, Xavi moved to Amsterdam to complete his master’s in jazz piano and bachelor’s in classical piano. He has performed with musicians such as Dick Oatts, Terell Stafford, Ben van Gelder, Reinier Baas, Tineke Postma, and Jasper Blom. In 2015, the dream debut Skyline was released with his own trio, which won several awards, including two Keep An Eye International Jazz Awards and “Best Band.”
