The Young VIP Tour has been renamed ‘The Records on Tour’, a collaboration between the VNJJ (with support from Stichting Jazzvip) and Keep an Eye The Records (Keep an Eye Foundation). This project builds on the jazz competition The Records, in which three winners each receive a €10,000 prize to produce their own album. The album release takes place one year later at the Bimhuis or TivoliVredenburg, marking the official start of The Records on Tour.

The Records on Tour offers these three emerging jazz artists a tour of approximately 12 concerts, supported by Dutch jazz venues and festivals. In addition, they receive a tailored coaching programme designed to meet both their artistic and professional needs. The focus lies on young artists who look ahead and create music rooted in the present moment—musicians with a distinctive vision of what jazz can be and an unstoppable drive to perform and share their music on stage.
