Anaphora
After the successful debut album, here is the second CD of the trio Anaphora. And what a CD it is. The Italian, non-binary pianist and composer Filippo Deorsola explores new musical worlds with [Bloom] full of cyclical patterns, danceable grooves, gongs, techno-like beats, lyrical melodies and other intriguing sounds. The music is a cross between jazz and non-European musical traditions. An album full of very original compositions and harmonious interplay, with a central role for the prepared piano.
