JazzFest Amsterdam was founded in 2011 to showcase the vibrant and diverse jazz scene of Amsterdam. The idea is to bring together numerous Amsterdam jazz musicians from various styles in one evening, under one roof. From traditional swing and world music to adventurous improvisation and cross-over projects. JazzFest focuses not on the ‘big names’ but on surprises and unique combinations on stage.
